Action for empowering orphans and vulnerable Children
We believe that children have the right to a healthy, educated childhood. We also believe that education is the main route out of poverty. Our projects therefore focus on education and helping children access and remain in main stream school. Whilst there are no boundaries to ability many children have to overcome enormous obstacles to succeed at school and we recognize that nutrition and good health all help their chances of success and we target our funding at these areas too. Each of our projects is summarized below but you can read in more detail about each project by clicking.
In Uganda, public education under universal primary and secondary is provided for free, but there are still certain costs associated with school that prohibit many orphans and vulnerable children from attending. These include school fees, long distances, required school supplies and required school uniforms. For $30 you can give a child here the opportunity to attend school for a month and give them hope for a better future. You don’t have to travel to Africa to care for an orphan. For only $30 per month, you can sponsor a child and help ensure the continued operation of Center of Hope Children Ministries Vulnerable children Click here
SPONSOR A CHILD
Center of Hope Children Ministries work is chiefly focused on improving the lives of children who suffer under these extreme hardships.
Many Ugandan children are severely malnourished because they go day-to-day without food–or in an effort to fill their stomachs, they eat on garbages, dustbins or whatever they can find.Astonishingly, one in ten Ugandan children never live to see their fifth birthday. For the poor, finding food is top priority. Many children and most adults do not have a full meal a day.

FEEDING PROGRAM
Over 100,000 children are homeless in Uganda. Your donations could give them the security they deserve. Our primary goal is to build a place where the children can call a home, one which has beds and reaches the standards that Social Welfare require for orphanages to remain an active part of the community. This is a lied down project but still looking for finances to make it stand.
What your money can do
More children than ever before don’t have anywhere to call home.
But we’re here to help, 365 days a year. Your donations could help us find them safe, secure places to live.
